Senator Cameron has a strong commitment to Idaho's public schools, colleges and universities and community colleges. He believes that the appropriate funding of education is the State of Idaho's top priority.
As chairman of Senate Finance and co-chair of the legislature's budget committee Cameron has fought for adequate funding and to minimize the impacts of the economic downturn to public schools.
Senator Cameron understands the importance of retaining our excellent teachers in the classroom to maintain student achievement.
