Issue Position

I believe that your money is actually yours; it is not the governments, they didn't give it to you. You earned it and should get to keep it. It is not the role of government to redistribute wealth from those that created jobs, and created wealth and give it to those that did not. With that said, I do understand that taxes are a necessity of society. However, I am a firm believer in the idea that government already takes enough of our money and needs to work on reducing the tax burden placed on individuals by eliminating unnecessary and wasteful programs.
