Creating and maintaining viable economic opportunities in District 95 is among my top priorities. When elected I'll work with community and business leaders to attract job opportunities to the district. I will also partner with entrepreneurs within the district to explore home grown economic development strategies. I will work to make sure that members of our community are aware of financial and loan programs available during these difficult economic times.

I support increasing economic opportunities for small and minority/women owned Businesses. Success among minority-owned businesses translates to increased jobs, increased wealth and long-term prosperity for all of our district's residents. Additionally, I will work to improve and protect pensions for teachers and state employees and create new opportunities by supporting programs that retrain unemployed workers for new jobs.
