Although we have been known as the auto capitol of the world, most people realize that a thriving public transportation system is the key to a thriving community. Public transportation can thrive and exist along with the automobile. Cities that have invested in a high quality transportation system that moves people from their homes to their jobs to their leisure places have been able to attract young professionals and families. This is a necessary component of an economic revitalization of this region.

Fight to preserve existing public transportation in the area
Fight to bring light rail along the Woodward corridor
Expand existing transportation opportunities
