*She's shaped environmental policies as a member of the Governor's Clean Coal Technology Council and as a former chair of a Texas Conservative Coalition Task Force on Energy and the Environment.
*Lois works closely with and has served numerous times as a panelist for the Texas Wildlife Association. She is passionate about wildlife and its habitat and the impacts on our environment. She has been a vocal supporter for wildlife and habitat research at the Cesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute located at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
