Issue Position: Stopping ObamaCare

Issue Position

As a physician, I have firsthand knowledge of the precarious nature of our country's health care system. The health care model won't work until individuals are empowered, encouraged, and enabled to take direct control and responsibility for their own health. Increasing consumer choice and competition, combined with tort reform, is the fastest way to lower health care costs while improving quality of care. I oppose Obamacare and will make every effort to create a firewall against the unconstitutional encroachment on our great state, whether from the HHS, Justice Department, or the EPA. As an emergency room doctor and mom, I already have a reputation for sticking my neck out for patients and my family. I will be happy to do the same for my constituents.
