Susan's Plan to Cut Spending in Washington

Stop wasteful government spending: Susan will fight waste, fraud and abuse in government agencies and put an end to no-bid government contracts.

Restore fiscal accountability: Susan supports pay-as-you-go rules and believes we need to work toward a balanced federal budget.

End the secrecy surrounding earmarks: Susan believes that taxpayer dollars shouldn't be spent behind closed doors and inserted into legislation as part of political deal making. She wants to make sure that all earmarks have a public hearing, and all federal funding decisions are open and transparent.
