Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., strongly supports the bipartisan JOBS Act(Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act) and voted in favor of the legislation today. The legislation includes initiatives supported by job creators, Democrats in both the House and Senate and the President.
"With so much gridlock in Washington, West Virginians deserve to know that we can and will work across party lines to pass legislation to help job creators. I am appreciative of the President's support of these bills, many of which originated in the Financial Services Committee where I serve," stated Capito. "We must ensure that America continues to be an incubator for start-ups and entrepreneurs. We need to cultivate a new generation of Americans who dare to be bold and dream big ideas."
DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT
Here's what a West Virginia business owner says about the JOBS Act:
"The JOBS act is another great piece of legislation from Congresswoman Capito and House Republicans that will help small businesses put Americans back to work, and America on the path to success. Small business is the driving force behind the American economy, and anything congress can do to get government out of the way and let us work hard for our communities is a step in the right direction. West Virginians are lucky to have Congresswoman Capito representing us, and we thank her for her continued support of small business and American workers," stated Jay Harper, Harper Lumber in Buckhannon, WV
