As a small business owner, Marcus has a proven record of business management and has guided his company through the current recession.

Balance the budget by growing the economy, controlling spending, implementing reform and replacing or eliminating destructive regulations, programs and bureaucracies. We need to stop draining the economy of its economic life blood with ineffective, uncontrolled deficit spending.

Stopping the 2013 tax increase will promote stability and growth. Class warfare rhetoric, which promises to raise taxes only on the rich, is disingenuous and ignores the fact that a tax increase on one segment of the population is a tax increase on everyone. All Americans will share the cost of a tax increase through lost jobs and opportunities. Stop class warfare. When did being successful in America become a bad thing?

Dramatically reduce the Corporate Income Tax, which is the highest among the world, to 20% or below. This would significantly increase business investment and make American businesses more competitive against those in other countries. The cost of a reduced tax rate could be offset with the closing of corporate loopholes and the reduction or elimination of government subsidies.

Repeal and replace Obama-care with a responsible pro-jobs health plan that returns health issues and decisions back to the patients and their doctors instead of to the Bureaucrats.

Responsibly develop Arkansas energy resources which will create jobs and help stabilize energy costs.
