Issue Position

I understand the importance of a quality education and I will work to ensure that education dollars are spent in the classroom and not on bureaucratic overhead or unfunded mandates. I support Governor McDonnell's innovative efforts to improve our public schools through competition and incentives that reward excellence. Special needs children are particularly dear to my heart, and I will fight to ensure that each child, regardless of family income or physical limits, receives the best public education possible.
