Issue Position

As a teacher and administrator, my mother always stressed the value of education. It is the catalyst to success. When businesses are looking for areas to locate, educational factors are crucial in those decisions. We must ensure that our children have better educational opportunities. While continuing to invest in the basics of math, science, and English, our kids should have access to technological tools and resources needed to survive in this digital age.

Additionally, we must fight the attack against higher education by fully funding Southern, LSU and BRCC so that our children can afford to attend college in Louisiana.
