Polis Re-Appointed to House Rules Committee

Jared Polis (D-CO) announced today that he has been re-appointed to the House Rules Committee for the 112th Congress. With the House now under Republican leadership, Polis is one of four Democrats to remain on the prestigious committee, which governs rules for legislative debate in the House.

"It is an honor to return to the Rules Committee for the 112th Congress," said Polis. "From this position I will work to ensure that legislation in the House is not hijacked by political posturing and remains true to our shared goal of creating jobs and growing the economy."

Congressman Polis is also a member of the House Democratic Steering Committee.
