André Carson believes we must honor the heroism and sacrifices of our service men and women and their families. However, André has opposed the war in Iraq and was pleased when the President announced his intention to end our combat mission in Iraq. As a former official for the Department of Homeland Security, André recognizes the importance of ending the war in Afghanistan in a responsible and timely manner so Congress can allocate more of our resources here at home.
