It's clear the Obama/Pelosi/Reid "solution" for every problem is more bureaucrats, more spending, and more taxes. And they already have their eyes on their next goal--one that would increase your utility bills and raise the price of gasoline.

The Obama "energy plan" will cap CO2 emissions and levy new taxes to be paid by the American people. Proponents of the bill will be careful to not call it "Cap & Trade", but the name change is nothing but political gamesmanship.

In fact, the goal of this legislation is increased prices. Proponents hope that by increasing the cost of energy, Americans will use less. But as we struggle to overcome an economic crisis, now is not the time for new taxes and government-forced energy inflation.

American families simply cannot afford President Obama's cap and tax plan. A better way to grow our economy and create jobs would be to increase domestic production of American energy resources.
