Issue Position

I am passionate about improving the quality of our public schools. Our future, including our economic future, as a state and nation depend on how well we educate our young people. They are our future. Accountability and high standards are paramount. I support choice through charter schools, as well as testing as a graduation requirement. I believe strongly in local management of education by competent educators and school boards within their own communities. Today Georgia colleges and universities are preparing our leaders of tomorrow. We must protect the foundation of our future.
