Issue Position

As an Educator, I will continue the same advancement of education that is happening here in SW Indiana at the state house. A prime example of innovative thinking in education is the New Harmony and EVSC partnership that most importantly helps students, but also, is a smart investment of taxpayer dollars. As an educator, I am uniquely qualified to work with teachers, the ISTA and school administrators, and whomever else to make sure that all groups work together to put the students first.Students and their progress will be my number one concern. With the introduction of the Indiana Growth Model for students, we will be able to track how a student has grown in his/her education. There are many new and innovative ways to advance education. School districts need to be given the flexibility to be innovative.
