Reducing the Deficit

Spending in Washington is out of control. The federal deficit has increased 900% since Democrats took over in 2006, ballooning from 160 billion dollars to $1.5 trillion in just three years. Lifelong politicians are afraid to risk their jobs on the tough choices necessary to cut spending, instead promising a free lunch to everyone while the nation goes broke.

Enough is enough!

Dr. Donna Campbell is a fiscal conservative ready to take on the special interests in Washington.
She will tackle the deficit by suggesting a return to 2006 spending levels and voting to ban earmarks.

She notes that by enacting common-sense tax reforms and making tough budget cuts, a huge dent in the national debt can be made. Republicans eliminated the deficit during the 1990s, and Dr. Donna Campbell is going to Congress to do it again. We can't mortgage our children's future any longer. It's time to say "no" to lobbyists, entitlements, and cronyism. There's no reason the government can't tighten their belt when American families are doing the same.
