Issue Position

Pennsylvanians deserve a break. Whether it's a senior citizen trying to stay in her home, or a young couple trying to purchase their first home, exorbitant property taxes currently serve as the single largest impediment to the American Dream of homeownership.

It is time for Harrisburg to pay its fair share of school funding and to stop pushing the cost of education on to local property taxes. We need a leader in Harrisburg that will fight for property tax reform that works for all Pennsylvanians.
