REFORM GOVERNMENT

We must return greater control to the people.

·Require openness and transparency in the preparation of the state budget and other legislation.

·Allow legislators enough time to read, debate and fully understand legislation before they vote on it.

·Enact term limits for the legislative leadership. We do not need career politicians.

·Pass a constitutional amendment to allow citizen referenda and recall elections on North Carolina ballots.

·End gerrymandering and reform the redistricting process to produce fair, compact, apolitical districts.
