Capito Statement on Memorial Day

Rep. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., today made the following statement regarding Memorial Day:

"Memorial Day is a time for our nation to join together to honor and remember all of the brave men and woman who have dedicated themselves in service for each and every one of us. The selfless service of our veterans and current military personnel allows us to enjoy peace and security in our lives and for that we are eternally grateful.

"As families throughout West Virginia and across the nation come together to celebrate this holiday weekend, let us all take a moment of pause to reflect on the tremendous sacrifices our courageous soldiers make to protect our freedom."
