My experience with unclaimed property has been as a user of the service. I have claimed assets using both the online system and dealing in person with Treasurer's Office staff. Both transactions were completed on a timely basis and to my satisfaction. I would strive to ensure that the department continues to deliver such outstanding service to the people of Alabama. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
