Issue Position

We must establish justice by protecting the life of developing babies who are not yet born. The responsibility to establish justice is named in the preamble to the Constitution, and scientifically, there is no doubt that a human life begins at conception. In addition, our Declaration of Independence states, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.... Life is the first right, and the first responsibility of government is to establish "liberty and justice for all."
