Issue Position

If our nation's immigration laws were properly enforced, the issue wouldn't be an issue. Let's treat those here legally as the rightful citizens they are, and let's move those here illegally off of our nation's taxpayer-funded services and back across the border.

Immigration and Border Security

We are America, the "land of the free and home of the brave". Many flock to our Great country to become Americans. They come to enjoy the American way of life and the opportunities available to all. Some come requesting permanent status while others just want a temporary stay. There are 2 ways to enter the USA, legally or illegally. One is right; the other is wrong. There is no right way to accept the wrong way. To enter legally is to comply with our immigration laws.

* I support strict enforcement of our immigration laws
* I support E-verify which needs to be permanently authorized by the congress
* I support Social Security No-Match, and it needs to be permanently authorized by the congress
* I support measures to secure our borders
* I support the definition of illegal immigrant as one who is in our country illegally
* I support point of contact proof of legal entrance into our country
* I support protection of law enforcement officers in upholding their duty to detain and arrest illegal immigrants
* I support the term terrorist to be applied to any illegal immigrant that commits a crime against America or any of our people.
* I oppose "safe-havens"
* I oppose providing benefits that are afforded U.S. citizens to illegal immigrants
* I oppose restraining law enforcement from inquiring about proof of citizenship or immigration status
* I oppose amnesty for illegal immigrants

Legal immigrants are welcome but should enter with means. They should be able to live without any governmental assistance, which includes their health care. Our country is America, and we are Americans. We do not need any outside cultures forced on us to make us better! If any person does not like or agree with our political, religious or civic culture, they can find a country they do like and leave America alone!
