House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn today commented on the announcement of President-elect Barack Obama's economic team.
"Considering the size and scope of the economic challenge ahead, and the uncharted waters that President-elect Obama will be required to navigate, he needs a team of experts and heavy-hitters that can inform him and effectively implement his agenda of change. He has assembled a talented group of people who alone possess significant expertise and experience, but together create a powerful economic brain trust that will be tested immediately. I look forward to working with President-elect Obama's team to stabilize the economy and create jobs."
