Issue Position

As a veteran, I am proud of all those who have served in the United States military. I know that most Americans share that pride and gratitude.

As a member of Congress, I will insist that the government of the United States keeps its contract with our veterans. I am absolutely dedicated to making sure that veterans and their families receive every benefit that has been promised. As a physician, having spent six years as a Navy doctor, I have an intense interest in working to improve the quality and the timeliness of health care both for our wounded warriors and our veterans.

There is no justification for short-changing the brave men and women who have proudly worn the uniform of our nation's Armed Forces!
