""Gayle is a breath of fresh air. She is a down to earth person and very trustful. She listens to the voters and sees and knows what the people of Florida have been dealing with in our current economic crisis and our borders are out of control. She also knows what needs to be done to help us all get our trust back in Government."
- Bill Landes, Director of Florida Minuteman Civil Defense Corps*
"What distinguishes Gayle Harrell is that she has been a leader for immigration sanity. She has not just talked; she has fought alongside me in the legislature for secure borders and sensible, controlled immigration."
-David Caulkett, Vice President of Floridians for Immigration Enforcement (FLIMEN)*
"One thing that upsets many citizens today is that there is a disconnect between our elected officials and their constituents. I know personally that Representative Harrell listens to her constituents and has worked hard to solve problems that face our community. I feel confident that she is the right choice to represent us in Tallahassee."
-Jack Oliver, CEO of Bridges Across America*

Harrell Vision
*Gayle knows that securing the borders is essential to our national and economic security. A border that is not secure serves as a free pathway of entry for terrorists wanting to do us harm. It is also a source of easy entry for illegal drugs. Our system is broken, and immediate measures must be taken to protect our homeland security and national sovereignty.
*Gayle says NO to amnesty and feels strongly that our borders must be secure. Florida spends $1.7 billion of our hard earned money each year on Government services for illegal aliens.
*We should also have a guest worker progam that does not lead to citizenship. A guest worker must have a bio-identifiable card and be paid normal wages for their work.
*Continue the use of the federal H-1B program to allow agriculture workers to come to the United States and be employed legally for agricultural and other employment. They return to their country after finishing their work here and do not get citizenship through this program.
*They should have to pay taxes on any income that they make just like American citizens. This tax should be with-held from each paycheck that they receive. Taxes should be enough to pay local goverments to cover their extra expenses for the illegals health care, education ( for each illegal and their families) and for the increase cost that illegals cost our legal system.
*Anyone who is a felon should be deported.
*An employeer who hires illegals who do not have a proper ID should be delt with by our legal system.
*We already have laws to allow a foreigner to become a citizen of the United States. Any guest workers should have to go through the system to become a citizen. The laws that we have in the United States should be changed to allow foreigners who are not citizens but are graduating from Universities in the United States to be allowed to get a green card and work in the United States.
*Currently, only about 10% of these graduates can stay in the United States to work. This Law should be changed to allow all of these graduates to be able to stay in the United States and apply for Citizenship.
*There should be an option for any foreigner who serves in our military to have a fast track to citizenship.
*Use E-verify for all workers to be sure that they are in the United States legally. Gayle has been a sponsor of legislation to require the use of E-verify in Florida.
Harrell Record
*Gayle sponsored the Seaport Security Act, which set minimum security standards for all ports in Florida.
*Co-sponsored legislation to prohibit employers who have State contracts from employing illegal aliens
