Congressman Rogers tours Young Plant Farms.Agriculture is vital to East Alabama and those that live and work here. Farming and Ranching is what helps support our rural economies, and it is critical that Congress works to strengthen our farms with a strong farm safety net.

As a member of the House Agricultural Committee, I am hopeful that Congress will soon come to an agreement on a good Farm Bill for all of Alabama agriculture. That bill would help support Alabama's farmers while also encourage smart conservation practices through rural development programs.
