Issue Position: Protecting Life
As a member of Congress, I have a 100% pro-life voting record. I have consistently supported a ban on abortion with the exceptions of rape, incest, and when the mother's life is in danger. I will continue to fight for the life of the unborn here in Congress. I believe there is an essential human dignity attached to all persons, including the unborn. I have supported efforts in Congress to end partial-birth abortion, stop federally funded abortions, and to prevent unethical research on embryos and the use of human cloning. Please know that I will continue to fight hard in Congress to promote life in this nation.
