Boozman, Ross Meet with Troops

U.S. Representatives John Boozman (AR-03) and Mike Ross (AR-04) visited with American servicemembers at Landsthul U.S. Army Medical Center in Germany last week.

While at Landstuhl, Boozman and Ross met with Marine Corporal Daniel Cox, member of the 2nd BTN, 4th Marines. Cox was recovering from injuries he sustained in Iraq.

The Congressmen stopped to visit injured soldiers at the hospital while returning from Belgium, France and Italy where they were part of the U.S. Delegation to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly (NATO-PA).

The meetings featured discussions on NATO missions in Afghanistan and Kosovo, as well as environmental issues.

Ross and Boozman encouraged our NATO Allies to remain committed to Afghanistan, calling 2007 a "defining year" for democracy in Afghanistan.

Ross and Boozman are two of 12 members appointed to the bi-partisan NATO-PA.
