Election Night Speech
Thank you. Thank you all so much. Thank you.
What a great victory. There's so many people to thank. Rather than do that up here I want to shake your hand and thank you personally for all you've done.
I do want to thank Sandy, my wife of 30 years, and my sons, James and Matt. Our family is my greatest strength. They mean the world to me.
I want to thank the other Republican candidates in our race. I hesitate to call them opponents. We agree on so much.
Thank you Nancy, and Mark and Donna. And Tramm. Thanks for being part of this great process. I want - I need - your help in this campaign.
Tonight we begin preparing for victory in November.
I pledge to you tonight to work to make America, and Florida, and the 13th District better.
To work with our entire Republican team for Republican victory across-the-board.
To stand up for Republican principles.
To win the war on terror, and make America secure.
To get control of our border - and illegal immigration.
To get control of federal spending, with a balanced budget amendment and a line item veto.
To find a way to make property insurance more affordable.
To make Social Security and Medicare truly secure.
To remember Ronald Reagan's dream of a shining city on a hill.
We can do it. But we got to get to work together now.
Thank you and God Bless.
