Ag Listening Tour

I just finished our first day of our Ag Listening Tour across Georgia's new 12th District. I appreciate all the farmers and agribusinessmen and women who joined me at the stops to voice their opinions. Agriculture is Georgia's number one industry and farmers in the new 12th District desperately need someone who understands their issues and who will carry their weight in Washington. Right now, Georgia has 3 representatives on the House Agriculture Committee: 2 attorneys and an advertising executive - all from the metro areas. I have spent a lifetime living in rural Georgia and still live on the family farm today. I will take what I hear this week and make sure Georgia's farmers have a seat at the table.
