Thoughts And Prayers For Earthquake Victims

Statement

With an estimated 30,000 feared dead and over two-million homeless, Senator Dina Titus today expressed her sympathy for the families of victims of the massive earthquake which occurred on October 9th. The quake registered as 7.6 on the Richter Scale and struck the region bordered by Pakistan, Afghanistan and northern India.

'In the midst of our own recent natural disasters, Americans are reaching out to help in the international response.' said Sen. Titus. 'My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and the aid workers rushing to the scene. The generosity and compassion of the American people knows no limits.'
