Capito Responds to FutureGen Announcement

Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) responded today to the announcement that West Virginia would not be further considered for the FutureGen plant:

"Today's announcement that West Virginia will not be further considered for the FutureGen plant is extremely disappointing. I strongly believe that our state's infrastructure, accessible and able workforce and possession of the finest coal reserves in the country would have made West Virginia an ideal location for this plant. I remain very optimistic about West Virginia's potential, and I remain committed to continuing to promote West Virginia coal and technologies that will lead to its continued use in fueling our country's economy."
