Mr. GREEN of Texas. Mr. Speaker, still I rise, and I rise tonight on behalf of the community in Houston, Texas, where the Nepalese community resides. They have suffered a great disaster in their country, and we have been helping. We provided some millions of dollars. However, the amount of damage, the number of lives lost, and the help that will be needed will far exceed what they have received.

I am just hoping that our country will be able to do more. This is a time when what we stand for globally can mean something in the lives of the people of Nepal.

I pray that they will receive the help they need.
