Mr. BILIRAKIS. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize one of my outstanding constituents, Dr. Chris Mattey, a dedicated physician whose expertise and compassion benefit our community through her volunteer work at the Free Senior Health Clinic.

Dr. Mattey volunteers every Tuesday, providing critical care to our Spanish-speaking population and ensuring they receive accurate, culturally competent primary care. A specialist in senior care, she combines deep medical knowledge with a humanitarian spirit, bringing both expertise and empathy to every patient she serves. Her dedication and thoughtful approach ensure that seniors in our community receive not only excellent medical care, but also dignity, reassurance, and hope.

For her selfless dedication, unwavering compassion, and profound impact on our community, I am proud to recognize Dr. Mattey as a 2026 Hero Among Us. I ask my colleagues to join me in honoring her exceptional commitment, her remarkable skill, and the lasting, positive influence she has had on the lives of countless residents.
