Mr. BILIRAKIS. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize Denise O'Brien, a devoted community servant whose compassion, generosity, and steady leadership have made a lasting difference throughout our community. Since joining the Krewe of Chasco in 2017, Denise has become far more than a member--she has become its heart. Lovingly known as the ``Krewe Mom,'' she has earned this title through her unwavering care, encouragement, and willingness to support others in every season. Whether offering guidance, organizing efforts behind the scenes, or simply providing a listening ear, Denise consistently puts the needs of others first.

Her dedication to service extends well beyond the Krewe. Denise is actively involved in numerous community organizations, including the Community Service Council, A.F.I.R.E., Amvets, and the Junior Service League. Through each of these organizations, she invests her time and energy into advocacy, fundraising, and hands-on volunteer work that strengthens families and uplifts those in need. Denise's impact is not measured solely by the hours she gives, but by the heart she brings to every cause. Her steady, compassionate presence fosters unity and encouragement among fellow volunteers and community members alike. She leads not through fanfare, but through consistency, kindness, and a genuine desire to serve. In every organization she touches, Denise O'Brien leaves it stronger, more connected, and more compassionate. Her commitment reminds us that true leadership is rooted in service and that the most meaningful contributions often come from those who quietly and faithfully show up for others.

For her selfless dedication, generous spirit, and profound impact on our community, I am proud to recognize Denise O'Brien today as a 2026 Hero Among Us for Florida's 12th Congressional District.
