Mr. BILIRAKIS. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize Pastor Tom Reusch and The Chapel Church for their extraordinary and ongoing impact on students, families, and educators throughout Pasco County Schools. Under Pastor Tom's steadfast leadership, The Chapel Church has become far more than a house of worship--it has become a trusted and indispensable community partner.

Guided by generosity, compassion, and humility, Pastor Tom has cultivated a culture of service that meets both the tangible and emotional needs of our school communities. One of the most meaningful examples of this commitment is The Chapel's annual Thanksgiving outreach. Each year, families across multiple schools who sign up receive a complete Thanksgiving meal, ensuring they can gather around the table with dignity, joy, and gratitude. This effort does more than provide food--it strengthens community bonds and reminds families that they are seen, valued, and supported. During the Christmas season, The Chapel extends that same spirit of generosity to students participating in programs such as Pack-A-Sack, purchasing and delivering numerous Christmas gifts. These thoughtful acts ease financial burdens for families facing economic hardship and create moments of joy and excitement for children who might otherwise go without. For many students, these gestures send a powerful message: their community cares deeply about them. The Chapel's service does not end with seasonal outreach. Under Pastor Tom's leadership, volunteers regularly roll up their sleeves to improve school campuses--building new student desks, assisting with campus enhancement projects, and contributing hands-on labor to create welcoming, functional learning environments. Their work helps ensure that students have spaces that inspire confidence and opportunity. Equally impactful is their support for educators and staff. At schools such as Fox Hollow Elementary, The Chapel has provided refrigerators, microwaves, and stocked staff lounges with snacks and refreshments. While these may appear to be simple acts, they carry profound meaning. They acknowledge the tireless dedication of teachers and staff and reinforce that their hard work does not go unnoticed. What truly sets Pastor Tom and The Chapel Church apart is their consistency and holistic approach to service.

They respond not only to physical needs, but also to relational ones--showing up at school events, listening with empathy, and building genuine partnerships that strengthen the connection between schools and the broader community. In every respect, Pastor Tom Reusch exemplifies servant leadership. Through faith in action, he has helped create a bridge of hope, unity, and encouragement for countless families. The Chapel Church's contributions have strengthened Pasco County Schools and inspired others to serve alongside them.

For their unwavering commitment and extraordinary generosity, I am proud to recognize Pastor Tom Reusch and The Chapel Church as a 2026 Hero Among Us for Florida's 12th Congressional District. Their work is helping build brighter futures for our students and a stronger foundation for our community.
