Following the Biden Administration's announcement that Russia's "invasion" of Ukraine is "underway," Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) gave the following statement:

"Now is the time to show our strength and resolve by swiftly and decisively sanctioning Moscow. We cannot turn a blind eye to Russia's dictatorial, imperialistic regime. The United States will defend our ally, Ukraine, against foreign aggression and will stand proudly on the side of freedom."
