Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has sponsored H.R. 6703, the Return to Work Act.

The legislation would require federal agencies to reinstate all pre-COVID 19 telework policies.

The bill was originally introduced by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ).

Rep. Budd said in a statement:

"Congress has appropriated trillions of dollars to address the pandemic since March 2020. Two years later, the numerous reports of federal agencies operating at subpar level is highly troubling. It is time to return to normal and that means reinstating pre-COVID policies when it comes to telework. Big thanks to Rep. Biggs for leading this important bill."
