Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-07) released the following statement in response to President Biden's announcement of a vaccine mandate for American businesses with over 100 employees.

"President Biden is playing politics, infringing on individual freedom, and undermining trust in the effectiveness of the vaccine. Ever since Operation Warp Speed, I have supported the vaccine's development and encouraged folks to consult with their doctor about the best medical decision. Patients, not politicians, should make this personal choice. The President's top-down imposition of a vaccine mandate on private employers and millions of American workers is an egregious government overreach."
