WASHINGTON -- Congressman Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) released the following statement on the Democrats' passage of their $3.5 trillion budget resolution. This partisan bill calls for the highest sustained federal spending levels in American history and proposes $68 trillion in total spending over 10 years.

"Americans cannot afford the Democrats' spending spree. This reckless $3.5 trillion budget resolution will bring the highest federal spending levels in American history, add $17 trillion to the national debt, further drive-up inflation, and raise taxes on American workers by at least $1.8 trillion. North Dakotans and Americans expect real, bipartisan solutions, not more unchecked, massive, partisan spending from Washington," said Congressman Armstrong.
