U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture awarded $454,400 to North Dakota State University (NDSU).

The funds will be used to study food processing chemicals in raw cereal grains such as barley, wheat, and rye.
