Representative Lombardo believes it's critical to continue the support of cities and towns during the Covid-19 Pandemic through funding, PPE, and a strong state-local partnership.
Maintain strong Local aid and education funding to ensure cities and towns can provide needed government and educational services safely and successfully for residents.
Continue to provide extended unemployment benefits for those struggling with employment opportunities during Covid-19. At the same time, it's critical to create relief to business owners when it comes to rate increases for the Unemployment Trust Fund. Massive tax increases on businesses will not support a recovery and job expansion.
