Roads, Roads, Roads!! A major issue for Westfield, and most cities and towns. All of the 18.4 cents per gallon gas tax and 24.4 cent diesel tax that the Commonwealth collected is spent on infrastructure. In 2018 the State collected 769 million dollars and paid to cities and towns 200 millions. Kelly believes that cities and towns should be receiving a bigger portion of those funds and will fight to get the additional support from the state to improve our city roads.
