Issue Position: Trusting Educators, Investing in Our Future

Issue Position

As a father, I know and believe in the importance of education. No one knows better than our highly-skilled teachers and concerned parents how to best educate our children. I am fighting to ensure that decision-making regarding curriculum and other important issues is returned to the local level so that our educators can provide the best education possible for our children.

I believe the state should also invest in trades training and apprenticeships and bring them back into the classroom. In doing so, we can provide our young people an additional path to a successful future.

I also understand that investing in education is an investment in our future, which is why I fight for adequate funding for schools and libraries. Providing proper programming and resources for our students is essential to ensuring their success
