As a nearly life-long Tiverton resident, I know the value of our state's water ways. To protect the environment, as your state rep, I will work on the following:
Support funding for on-site waste water management and sewer expansion
Work with RIDEM to prevent the impact of sea level rise by protecting our marshes and estuaries.
Support initiatives to expand the use of renewable energy and promote a green economy by creating tax incentives for the creation and manufacture of wind turbines, taking advantage of our state's amazing fiberglass manufacturers
Support the expansion of solar energy grants and rebates to create a community based renewable energy source
