Issue Position

Nothing is more important than serving the people I represent. I'm proud of my record of working across the aisle, building coalitions, and finding solutions.

Recognizing the positive impact it could have, I spearheaded the collaborative effort to establish Aiple Park along the St. Croix River in Stillwater.
Successfully fought for funding for Washington County's Bike Bridge/Manning Avenue interchange.
Secured funding for Gateway Trail from William O'Brien State Park to the Scandia Village Center.
Passed legislation to designate Highway 95, from Lakeland to Oak Park Heights, as Corrections Officer Joseph Gomm Memorial Highway in memory of MCF-Stillwater Officer Joseph Gomm, was killed by an inmate in an on-duty attack on July 18, 2018.
Passed legislation that ensures equity in transportation costs for school districts like Forest Lake Area Schools.
Changed the law around electric vehicles so Stillwater's beloved Tuk Tuk can operate on city streets.
Since Minnesota breweries cannot sell "growlers" once they reach a certain production threshold, I introduced legislation and started an online petition to change the law so homegrown businesses like Lift Bridge in Stillwater can continue to sell growlers.
