Issue Position: A Safe and Equitable back to School Plan

Issue Position

As a mother with children in public schools, I know exactly the risks we have to consider when putting our kids back in school. I know too that the virus has hit different families harder than others. Our schools need to be equitable when they do return.

I support free lunch for all legislation. Every child in Rhode Island, no matter what zip code they live in or what their situation at home, deserves a hot meal every school day.
