Issue Position

Violence, in any form, is unacceptable. I am ready to confront the violence that happens within our community and work to make sure each of us feels safe.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
In Utah, one in eleven women and one in ten men will be a victim of domestic violence. This could happen to our friends, our neighbors, or a member of our families. I want to fight against this trend. We need to ensure that we have the resources available for those who suffer from this form of violence.

VIOLENT CRIMES
In 2016, 77 violent crimes were reported in Lehi. That is 77 too many. I want to ensure that our public safety officers are safe, well-funded, and fully staffed to fight against violent crimes within our community.

VIOLENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY
One of the main roles of government is to provide security and safety. The safety of our friends, our neighbors, and our families will always be one of my top priorities. I am ready to fight against violence in any form.
