As a small business owner I know the challenges of making payroll. I fought back on careless state insurance programs called the "Family Leave Act' that would have raised over $2 billion in new taxes from employees and employers for a "one size fits all' govt idea that would kill small business. I am also working with the Dept of Labor to ensure the new Wage Theft bill is not more complicated than it needs to be.
We need to let employers do their job with minimal interference. Let's catch the bad players that hurt employees without hurting everyone else. Rural MN has many unique issues with workforce growth and retention.
